I love buying things online, but sometimes it bites you back. The finish on this jewelry box is pretty low quality. I suppose you get what you pay for, and for something made in China its not bad. The two tone finish look you see in the picture is painted on, because staining to achieve that effect would take lots of time and expertise. My wife digs it and nothing has fallen off so beyond the finish it is everything I was expecting.

I own a black pearl necklace that I pulled out of the oyster myself. It's quality is far greater than what I received. The best part of it is that it was free, I just had to pay for the setting. The pearl I received from here is misshapen and has concentric circles running through the middle. I realize that this is a style of pearl but I had no idea just how cheap they look. It isn't just that, I could live with that. Where the hole was drilled for the earring post, there is a white gluey mess. On top of all of that the earring hooks are bent and misshapen. There is ZERO excuse for those two things. If you really want a nice pearl I would advise looking elsewhere. If you don't mind a tacky and cheap set of earrings, go ahead and waste your money. They arrived quickly and they were packaged okay. The bag they come with was in nice condition but the box jewelry box the earring are in was filthy and had a cut all the way across the top. The seller states that they are moderately blemished pearls and what I received would not pass for that. The pearls themselves were extremely blemished and the setting they were in was cheap (must have been for them to look as bent and mangled as they do.) What I received was to be a gift that I now will not be giving because I would be ashamed to give this to anyone. Obviously I am an extremely dissatisfied customer. I hope you all (if you choose to order from here) have much better success than I did.

I bought this for my girlfriend for her birthday, and she definitely loves it! The size of the pendant (including the sapphire, the white gold plate with topaz) is roughly about the size of a nickel to a quarter. I thought the pendant is going to be a lot smaller according to the description given in the info. The color of the sapphire IS a little darker than the picture shown, but nonetheless very beautiful. The pendant will come in a little decorated box shown in the last picture, and that little box will be placed in the second box shown in picture 2, and ultimately placed in the blue pouch shown in picture 2 also. One thing to note is that the chain the pendant came with is extremely thin, but it definitely adds a delicate look to the jewelry as a whole.

Bottom line, a great gift for what it costs. A+
Would buy from this seller again.

Purchased as a gift. The chain is a bit wimpy, but strong enough to support the pendant for occasional wear. If one is going to wear this often, or not remove it at all, I'd recommend a stronger chain.

The pendant is beautifully done. The heart is at least an inch wide, perhaps a bit more in height. (Sorry, already wrapped it for gift so I can't measure it now). The heart is hefty, excellent quality and is highly polished; the inscription is deep and dark enough to be easily read. One must turn the heart over and sideways to read the entire sentiment, but the words are clear, not squished together.

Just a beautiful pendant with a heart warming sentiment. Would like to see more of this pendant with a variety of sentiments available.

Nevertheless, somehow it is less beautiful that the picture suggests. It's a little flatter than I thought it would be, and I was expecting light red glass, but it's so dark it looks dull brown. Because of this, it doesn't look as impressive even with the help of the silver case, and while it's definitely not terrible, it's below my expectations. I won't be returning it, though, because the silver chain is absolutely gorgeous. It really sparkles in the light, and I'm happy with it. Was it worth $50, just for that? No, but I'll live. It just would've been so much prettier if the heart had been closer to the lighter color in the picture. I've been waiting for this to arrive for nearly two months and now thats it's finally here well...it's pretty but not that pretty. The pendant doesn't seem to be well made as the glass heart doesn't neatly fit into the metal piece. I intended to give this pendant to a friend of mine for her birthday but now I'm not so sure. Don't set the bar up to high you might be disappointed.

I had read all the reviews about this necklace, but it was so pretty I thought I would take a chance on it. The necklace itself is beautiful, and I don't think the chain looked cheap at all. However as soon as I put it on I knew I was going to have to send it back. The whole pendant leans forward instead of flush against your skin. It creates a very akward looking profile from the side and just does not present itself well from the front. I immediantly stuck it back in the bag and contacted PearlsOnly thru email. The returns process was very easy and Julie from PearlsOnly answered all my emails in a very timley manner. I mailed the necklace back on 1/13/10 and received an email notifying me of my refund on 1/22/10. I wish this would have worked out because the necklace is very beautiful and appeared to be of very nice quality. The extras sent along were also a nice touch, however it just couldn't make up for the way it hangs.

None of them are foggy and they all shine beautifully. I was very pleased with this product and I'm very glad I purchased it. The only downside I can think of is that the chain is extremely thin.
