I own a black pearl necklace that I pulled out of the oyster myself. It's quality is far greater than what I received. The best part of it is that it was free, I just had to pay for the setting. The pearl I received from here is misshapen and has concentric circles running through the middle. I realize that this is a style of pearl but I had no idea just how cheap they look. It isn't just that, I could live with that. Where the hole was drilled for the earring post, there is a white gluey mess. On top of all of that the earring hooks are bent and misshapen. There is ZERO excuse for those two things. If you really want a nice pearl I would advise looking elsewhere. If you don't mind a tacky and cheap set of earrings, go ahead and waste your money. They arrived quickly and they were packaged okay. The bag they come with was in nice condition but the box jewelry box the earring are in was filthy and had a cut all the way across the top. The seller states that they are moderately blemished pearls and what I received would not pass for that. The pearls themselves were extremely blemished and the setting they were in was cheap (must have been for them to look as bent and mangled as they do.) What I received was to be a gift that I now will not be giving because I would be ashamed to give this to anyone. Obviously I am an extremely dissatisfied customer. I hope you all (if you choose to order from here) have much better success than I did.
